Coffee and dogs… A winning combination?
Let’s be honest, most activities are made more pleasant if we can bring our pooches along for the fun. If you feel like there aren’t a lot of dog-friendly coffee shops in Dublin though, think again.
Here are some of the spots you can take your four-legged friend to this weekend.
Two Pups Coffee
Location: 74 Francis St, The Liberties, Dublin 8
Opening Hours: Weds to Fri 8.30 am - 3.30 am + Sat & Sun 9.30 am - 4 pm
Two Pups Coffee serves good coffee, good food and, as the name suggests, pups are welcome! A great choice for brunch or even a sweet treat on your coffee break.

Happy Out
Location: 81 Morehampton Rd, Ranelagh, Dublin 4
Opening Hours: 7:30 am-4 pm midweek + 8 am-4 pm weekends
Happy Out began as a successful shipping container café on Bull Island in 2017. It has since expanded to its Donnybrook residence, where you can bring your dog along while you enjoy some coffee, toasties or a delicious brunch.

Dash
Location: Container Cafe, Dublin 7
Opening Hours: 7.30 am - 8 pm
Every Thursday, your dog can get a free puppuccino at the Dash Container Cafe… The perfect end to a walk in the Phoenix Park!
Alongside your coffee, you can also get some treats for both you and your dog with a great selection on the menu.

Network
Location: 39 Aungier St, Dublin 2
Opening Hours: Mon - Fri 8 am - 4 pm + Sat 10 am - 4 pm (Closed Sun)
Network’s mission is simple: serve great coffee + great food. They’ve got some stand-out options for breakfast AND they serve iced coffee too if that’s your drink of choice.

Ruff Cafe
Location: 37 Clanbrassil St Lower
Opening Hours: Wed - Fri 11 am - 5 pm + Sat 9 am - 3 pm + Sun 10 am - 3 pm
Although the name says it all, their mantra packs the final punch. “All dogs welcome. Humans allowed.” We like it!
Make sure to pop in to meet the cafe manager, Calypso the dog. But make sure you don’t get in her way. She’s very busy and has a lot of work to do.
