New York City Launch Event - Gym+Coffee

New York City Launch Event

Posted by Diarmuid McSweeney on

Get ready for an epic New York City launch event! We are super excited to announce that we will be hosting an amazing event on Sunday February 4th at 10am at the National Sawdust in Brooklyn.

This event will include an amazing POUND® class lead by Founder, Kirsten Potenza. POUND is the world's first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Using lightly weighted drumsticks and great music, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.

This exciting class will take place in the incredible National Sawdust building in Williamsburg. This intimate but airy, high-ceilinged space is lined with jagged sound panels, separated to reveal slashes of the wall beneath. It has a futuristic feel with experimental design and moody lighting. National Sawdust is an unparalleled, artist-led, non-profit venue, a place for exploration and discovery.

If that wasn’t enough, we have also partnered with Toby’s Estate Coffee. Toby’s Estate Coffee is a small batch roaster located in Brooklyn. They travel the world sourcing coffee, celebrating quality and complexity. Toby’s skilled baristas will provide us all with espresso drinks and filtered coffee at their pour over bar. We are thrilled to have them collaborate with us for this event!

This is going to be an amazing event and suitable for all fitness levels so don’t be shy!
