GREAT RUN SERIES 2022

Posted by Ashlee Byrne on

We’ve joined forces with the Great Run Series! Gym+Coffee is now the Official Activewear Partner for 7 incredible events taking place this summer in the UK!

The Great Run adventure started when Olympian Brendan Foster launched the first Great North Run in 1981, with the goal of inspiring more people to get into running. From that first event with 12,000 runners, The Great North Run is now the world’s largest half marathon event, welcoming its millionth runner in 2014. This year will see 170,000 runners around the UK take to their streets for Great Runs in Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol, Glasgow and Portsmouth.

Every Great Run brings together thousands of everyday heroes, who have challenged themselves to explore their limits, clear their mind, and most importantly, to enjoy themselves! At Gym+Coffee, we know how proud everyone should feel of the hours, weeks, and months of effort they have put in to work towards their Great Run goal, and how important that inclusive community spirit is to helping you get there. We couldn’t be more excited to play our part in those moments when thousands of people come together to celebrate themselves, uplift each other, and run their streets.

The Gym+Coffee community of great runners will be a hub of enhanced support and cool gear as you get training, running and exploring. Sign up now for the chance to win a full training kit, and make sure to join the G+C Run Club on Strava to start clocking those training miles with the crew.

Look out for us in person, as the summer of sport kicks off with the Great Birmingham run on the 1st of May!
